Application Instructions for International Students

  • download and print out the application checklist [pdf]
  • download the application [pdf] to send to us or you can request one be sent to you via email or through our online request form
  • apply online - you will also need to complete the paper-based International Student Application (see the PDF of the application link above)
  • request an application through the postal mail by writing to us at the following address:

  • Special Application Requirements for International Students
    • Submit official credential evaluations of any foreign academic credentials (if applicable)

    • Submitt official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores (if applicable)
  • Financial Requirements Each applicant who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and is requesting the issuance of a Certificate of Eligibility(Form I-20) for an F-1 student visa is required to provide documentation which indicates the ability to cover the first year of tuition and living expenses at Lesley University. Please do not send financial documents until after you have been accepted and received an Estimate of Expenses (EOE).
  • In addition to the Financial Documents
    • You will need to submit an Immigration and Financial Declaration Form (IFDF), which will be sent to you once you have been accepted to the University.
    • You will also need to provide copies of previous immigration documents (if applicable).
