Literacy For All
2008 Exhibitor Information
We would like to extend an invitation to you to exhibit for two days at the 19th Annual Literacy for All–Northeast K-8 Literacy Conference & Reading Recovery Institute in Providence, RI. As an exhibitor, you will have exposure to over 2,000 Reading Recovery and literacy educators who routinely buy products from vendors like you.

The 19th Annual Literacy for All Conference will take place on November 16-18, 2008 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The Rhode Island Convention Center is located at 1 Sabin Street, Providence, RI, 02903.
Directions to the Conference
This event draws Reading Recovery teachers and teacher leaders, as well as K-8 classroom teachers, reading/literacy specialists, reading teachers, special education teachers, Title I educators, and administrators. This year, we have added a new Middle School Strand to the program and we expect many grade 6-8 educators to attend.

If you plan to sell merchandise from your booth, you must either already have a Rhode Island Tax ID number or apply for a temporary RI Tax ID number at the conference. You cannot sell merchandise without a permit. The cost of a temporary permit is $10, which can be issued to your company at the start of the conference. Lesley University Center for Reading Recovery will issue the temporary permits. In addition, we are required by RI law to collect all tax money from exhibitors at the conclusion of the conference on November 18, 2008 at 1:00 pm and immediately submit the taxes to the RI Division of Taxation. Exhibitors who are selling merchandise, but who do not already have a permit, are asked to come to the conference with two checks: one for the cost of the permit and the other to cover the cost of the taxes for items sold during the conference.
This year, we are pleased to offer online registration for exhibitors! Select the number and type of booths you want (corner or in-line), order extra tables, and then receive immediate confirmation. Please be sure to have your RI Tax ID number ready (if you have one) when you register. Exhibitors may pay by credit card or by check.
