Literacy Collaborative

Alignment of State Curriculum Standards

As states develop curriculum standards indicating what all students should know and be able to do, it is critical for schools to select an instructional model that ensures the success of their students based on their state's frameworks. The Literacy Collaborative framework has been aligned with the standards of those states where the model is currently being implemented.

Effective implementation of Literacy Collaborative will support schools to increase their students' reading and writing performance and, just as important, meet their state's language and literacy standards. Because Literacy Collaborative is based on current research, the model includes instructional practices that are considered best in our field and meet the rigorous standards put forth by the departments of education across the country.
