Mission Statement
The mission of the Lesley University Center for Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative is to assure the successful literacy achievement of every child.
To achieve its mission the Center:
- collaborates with educators within school communities and other interested parties to make available to all children the most effective literacy programs with documented results
- provides leadership in research, development, training and ongoing support of high quality comprehensive literacy programs in elementary and middle schools in the United States
- works in partnership with an international network of universities committed to the most effective literacy programs, including Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative
