Brandon Strathmann teaches Drawn Animation, Computer Animation, Storyboarding, and Character Design in the Animation and Motion Media Department, where he is also the Chair.

He previously worked full time in the animation industry. Working several years on Family Guy and a year and a half each for Disney and DreamWorks. Strathmann also worked at Disney Online and Neopets. His two films have won several first prizes including the Yellowstone "John Muir" award. He earned his MFA from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth (2007) and a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design (1998).
